Standards are boundaries that we live by. Like the clothes in our closets our standards represent how we want people to see us and treat us. For years women have been subjected to the standards of society alone (what jobs we could have, what is considered beauitful etc). In this new era though these ideas have not seemed to change much, we have. Now we are accepting ourselves, we have the option to be more and expect more out of life, so why is it that we are told that what we want is a "Fairy Tale Life", I'm just sayin why can't I have my "Fairy Tale Life", Isn't it mine?
Ladies don't think to much into this I'm not just talking about a man telling you, that you expect to much, I'm referring more towards our goals to become CEO's, Entrepreneur's, and yes expecting Mr. Right (I will delve into that another time).
I think of myself as a woman of high standard, not arrogant, but I Love Me! I have priorities and I have boundaries for who I let come into my life, and the activities I choose to do.
This is just a thought among the many I will have, I would love to hear your comments. You're entitled to your own opinions, but if you don't have anything nice to say....The Bible says Bridle your tongue. Feel free to visit other blogs.
