Whats so bad about starting (wanting) a Family? I just started a new job and as I look around I see the veraity of women to the limited amount of men. I also see the vast majority of young women vs middle age to older women. All of our backgrounds are different there are women who have been married for years, have children and grandchildren, women who are building their families, and single mothers, then there are those of us who are single.
I am often asked first how old I am, and when I do say my age people gasp because I look so young, the next question is if I have children, and when I say No the response is : "Good! live your life, children will hold you back and men these days are no good, if you find a man don't settle".
Hmmmm, intresting and here I was thinking how much I wanted children and to start building a family, O & Trust Lady B settles for NO man that department is covered.
So here I am thinking to myself maybe some women started early having children and didn't get to do the things they wanted so they were giving me advice.....I think?
As a single woman I value the opinions of those who are married, divorced, those who have been left to hold down the fort, and those who just realized "Dag you my baby daddy, I'd rather do it alone". In my opinion, as long as you put your mind to it ALL things are possible with or without a family.
Whatever position you may be in it's all under God's control, life and children are a blessing and both can be overwhelming at times. I guess the moral of this story is Be Encouraged, Speak over your life. As for me I Know I can do it all, I will have what God allows me to have, guess I just answered my own question.
